As I have said many times before, I try to live my life around a saying. The name for my blog is also influenced by this as I feel like by making my life this metaphorical camera, I can truly understand the true meaning of it. If you haven't read my blog before and are completely confused as to what I am talking about, the saying goes as follows:
Life is like a camera, focus on what's important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, take another shot.
This post is concentrating on the focusing on what's important aspect. I started my blog with the intention of uploading a post twice a week and so far I have kept that up with a few exceptions. However, recently I am really struggling to write two posts a week as my life is getting very hectic. This frustrates me because I love blogging - it has become a real hobby of mine! I'm also an avid reader of other blogs and I haven't had time to scroll through my Bloglovin feed and read in depth other posts which again, I love to do.
Be me saying that I'm going to focus on what's important in my life right now, I don't mean to say that blogging isn't important to me. Coming up, I have exams that I need to pass and right now I just need to prioritise my time into revising. I hope that in the Summer, I can blog a lot more as I will have so much more time to do so. In my mind, I have so many post ideas that are Summer themed and I will most likely be back into my schedule of two posts a week.
I don't think I realised how much effort bloggers put in to making their content. For me creating a blog post, takes a good few hours as I need to take photos as well as just write it. I also understand that my posts aren't as long as other bloggers so I can only imagine the time and effort they put in to creating such amazingly detailed content. For me, right now, I can only commit myself to one post a week and although I would like to upload more, I know this is a realistic number for me.
I'm sorry that this post was a bit all over the place but I just wanted to explain why I haven't and won't be writing as many posts as usual. I hope you have a good day and I will be back to my normal type of post next week :)

I love this post so much that I have it bookmarked on my laptop. I love the explanation of the quote in the first part. It's easy to get lost in something that you love and forget what's majorly important in life (such as exams or other school work) so I always find it admirable when bloggers let their readers know that blog posts are on the backburner for them at the moment until they can finish whatever is really important to them.
ReplyDeleteI just love this post x
It's so nice to wake up to an amazing comment like this! I'm really glad that you enjoyed this post and thank you for being so lovely about it.
