This morning, the day of publish, I went to London's Brick Lane market. I had never been before but I know that I want to go back - to be surrounded by a melting pot of cultures was incredible. Every market stall was different, there was Chinese food on one and the stall next door was selling bicycles so the market was very diverse!! I'm really sorry that I couldn't get any photos of the stalls themselves but it was very busy at the time, however, the pictures online definitely by the market justice.
For my outfit, I decided to go for a comfy option but still dress up slightly by wearing a nice top and necklace. I feel like my necklace is very appropriate for Brick Lane market because it has many different styles as the place does. The shoes that I am wearing were perfect; I didn't get any blisters (as I always do when I walk for a long time) and my feet didn't kill by the end of the day - another bonus! On the topic of easy long-wear items, my bag from Primark was a good option for a market: I could keep it next to me at all times and it also meant that I didn't fill a large bag with lots of unnecessary stuff! I really like the pattern on the front of the bag, it has a slightly hippyish (not sure if that's a word but I'm going to go with it) design and it fits in really well with the style of the market.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Brick Lane market if you ever get the chance! What would be your perfect outfit for a morning out at a market?
